ABOUT US
The Tunbridge Wells Flower Company was born out of a desire to be connected - to where we live, the seasons, to nature. After spending so much time connecting to the outdoors and finding such peace in growing flowers during lockdown, I decided I wanted more people to experience the connection to nature locally grown, seasonal cut flowers can bring.

Most flowers sold in the UK are imported - mainly from Europe, Africa and South America and sold en masse in our supermarkets. Unlike when we buy our food, we are unlikely to know who has grown our flowers, what they have been treated with and how far they have been flown. If you care about air miles, seasonality and provenance, you have the option of buying your flowers locally, in season and without harsh chemical treatments. Not only is this more ethical but it's more interesting! There are a huge array of British flowers you won't find in the supermarkets - they change with the seasons, evoke memories with their natural scent, and haven't travelled hundreds of miles to reach you.
