FAQ

  • Can I drop in to see what you have available?
Visits are by appointment only. We are not a shop and we may be out in the field working or not there when you drop by. We share the farm with other tenants who are not associated with our business. If you are a florist and would like to arrange a visit, please get in touch and we will be happy to make an appointment to meet with you.
  • How do I keep my flowers looking their best?
It is vital that the vase or container you wish to display your flowers in is spotlessly clean. Snip the ends of the stems on an angle and put in a vase or container of cool, fresh, clean water. Keep out of direct sun, away from any radiators and remove any flowers as they go over. Keep the water clean and topped up.
  • Do you have flowers available all year round?
Not really! We grow flowers with the seasons, which means if we have a frost late in the year we may still have flowers in late November, or we might not! We don't tend to have much available in January and February, although we do have some foliage and dried flowers available all year round.
  • Do you do weddings?
I am not a wedding florist. However, I can recommend many excellent florists who are experts at using British flowers in their work, if that is the style of flowers you are looking for for your special day. Alternatively, we provide 'DIY' wedding buckets in a particular colour palette or style for you to create your own flowers for your wedding. Flowers will be conditioned and ready to use and you will need to bring your own (clean) buckets to take them away in. Please order in advance so that we can advise on what might be available, and collect in plenty of time for the flowers to be arranged.
  • When will my flowers be delivered?
Once I have received your order I will get in touch to arrange delivery date. Delivery is ONLY available in the Tunbridge Wells area. If I cannot deliver within the time frame required I will refund your order. I will deliver to the address given. If no-one is at home the flowers will be left near the doorstep in as safe and sheltered position as possible (at your own risk). If there are specific instructions for safe-keeping these will need to be given at the time of your order
  • Do you deliver nationwide?
No. We provide locally grown flowers so we don't deliver or ship outside of the Tunbridge Wells area. Please do take a look at the Flowers from the Farm website to find your local flower grower if you are further afield.
  • Can I collect my flowers?
Yes! Just call me or drop me a message to arrange a time and collection point.
  • Where do your flowers come from?
The vast majority of my flowers and foliage are grown by me, either in my garden or at the flower farm. Occasionally, I may use flowers from other local growers, or on very rare occasions, order from a British grower. This would be in a situation where my crop has failed or isn't ready yet - such as tulips in early Spring. Wreath material is primarily grown by me on the farm, in my garden or foraged. I may use a small amount of decorative material from a wholesaler.
